My Fairy Princess Demo and Playtest Notes

This is the living log for the My Fairy Princess public playtest and Steam demo. It is not a walkthrough — that is the demo guide. It is the page you refresh when a button moved or a friend swears money is called something else.

Access

Playtest announcement (KDream / MISCHIEF): visit the Steam page, click Request Access, download immediately — no approval queue. Calendar context: August 2026.

Steam now lists a separate My Fairy Princess Demo app (4036120) as live from 3 Sep 2026. Install that slice from the demo store module; wishlist the full app (3387240) so the 2026 product still notifies you. Specs on the two pages differ — the demo floor is an older GPU and 8 GB disk. Compare them on system requirements before you buy a machine for 1.0.

KDream asked playtesters to treat the game like the daughter: it needs care. That is not fluff. WIP UI is the care list.

Watermarks seen on official art

• “WIP version. Does not represent the game’s final quality (v0.1.1)” on the Friends book
• Similar WIP lines on interior and town shots, including v0.1.0.1
• “Work in Progress — Quality Does Not Represent Final Product (v0.4.103)” on a combat clearing

If your town is 0.1.x and your fight is 0.4.x, you are not crazy. Log both when you report a bug.

HUD strings that already drifted

Public screenshots disagree. Treat these as aliases, not as two systems:

• Coin (interior) vs Silver (Meadowville)
• Rebellion vs Defiance
• Power / Spirit / Knowledge / Talent vs Physique / Mind / Literature / Talent
• STA MAG INT CHR vs MIG AFF INT CHA plus letter grades

Getting Started and the daughter sheet teach the roles underneath the words.

Content the slice is allowed to omit

Locked Friend / Confidant / Enamored cards, hidden Likes, Year 6 memories you have not reached, unnamed swordsman, full ending credits. Missing is not always broken. If a prompt leads to an empty room, then it might be broken — send it.

How to file a useful report

To princess_help@kdream.fun or Steam discussions (see links):

1. Branch: playtest vs demo vs unknown
2. Version watermark
3. Language pack
4. Keyboard or pad
5. Screenshot of the HUD, not only the bug
6. What you pressed (F long press vs tap, Q, E)

Do not send a save-theft accusation because Silver renamed itself. Do send wrapped text (“Rebellio n”) and untranslated leftovers.

What this wiki will update here

• New official version strings
• Confirmed renames that stay stable for a week
• Demo takedown or replacement
• Playtest closing

We will not paste every Discord emoji reaction. For the 2026 full launch, use the roadmap. For how to spend AP inside the current slice, stay on guides.

If you only read one warning: do not theorycraft numeric caps from a v0.1 interior shot. The combat camera is already on another number. Raise her. Log the rest.

What still belongs in-game

A patch log cannot replace Chat, Schedule, or one honest fight. After you note the watermark, spend the next AP on daily life or on a single combat lesson, then come back if a string moved. The roadmap is the 2026 horizon; this page is only the branch you installed tonight. If Discord argues about Silver versus Coin, paste both screenshots and keep playing. Fairyland does not pause while we catalog aliases. Kinship still wants a parent in the room, and Liu Yuyue’s March card still wants a calendar, not a changelog. When the next official post lands, we will add a line here and leave the philosophy pages alone unless a verb on Steam actually changes.
