My Fairy Princess System Requirements

Fairyland is gentle. The minimum spec is honest. Read it before a two-hour Meadowville evening.

System Requirements

My Fairy Princess is a Windows Steam title from KDream and 2P Games. There is no Mac or Linux listing on the store page. The full game is still in a 2026 window; these numbers are what Steam prints now for anyone installing the demo or playtest branch. If they change, this page will follow the store, not a rumor.

After you pass the spec check, go to Getting Started or the demo walkthrough.

Full game listing (64-bit, Steam app 3387240)

  • OS: Windows 10 / Windows 11
  • CPU: Intel Core i3-6100 / AMD Ryzen 3 2200U
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 / AMD Radeon HD 7770
  • Storage: 10 GB available space

Demo listing (Steam app 4036120, live from 3 Sep 2026)

The demo page prints a softer floor than the full-game card. Use this when you are only installing the slice:

  • OS: Windows 10
  • CPU: 1.7 GHz dual-core
  • RAM: 8 GB
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260, ATI Radeon HD 4870, or equivalent with at least 512 MB VRAM
  • Storage: 8 GB available space

Do not mix the two cards. A laptop that clears the demo GPU line may still fail the full-game GTX 650 line in 2026. If you plan to keep both branches, reserve disk for 8 GB plus 10 GB, not for one of them.

Steam’s recommended block currently highlights 12 GB RAM and repeats the 64-bit requirement. It does not yet publish a fancier GPU line. Treat 12 GB as the comfort zone if you browse Discord, a wiki, and the game at once — which you will, because you are reading this.

What those numbers mean in practice

The life-sim camera is 2D/2.5D illustration, not a 2026 photoreal forest. A GTX 650-class card is a 2012-era bar. Most machines that can run a browser can enter Meadowville. The risks are:

  • RAM if you leave Chrome in the other room
  • Disk if the 10 GB swell with patches (demo plus full game later)
  • WIP UI — overlays, high-res CGs, combat v0.4.x on top of town v0.1.x

If the clock stutters, use windowed mode, close the second Steam browser, and do not 4K-upscale a 1280 screenshot-like UI. Controls mentions the gear menu (Esc).

Input and sharing

  • Single-player only
  • Family Sharing: yes
  • Partial controller support, DualShock, DualSense
  • Keyboard prompts are what official shots print (F, E, Q, R, Esc, Tab)

A pad will probably move her in town. A pad may not replace every menu letter. That is “partial.”

Languages (game, not this wiki)

Steam lists interface + subtitles for English, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese. Full audio: Simplified and Traditional Chinese. This wiki’s locales are English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional Chinese. Switching the game language is a Steam/client setting, not a wiki toggle. See links for the store page.

Support hardware questions

Crashes, missing voice, and black screens belong to princess_help@kdream.fun and the Steam forum, not to a tier list. Bring the version watermark (v0.1.1 vs v0.4.103) when you write. Demo notes explain why those strings differ.

Should you buy a new PC for 2026?

Not for this spec sheet. If you already fail the i3-6100 line, a modest used machine is enough. Spend money on a comfortable hour — a pad if you like, a second monitor for the ending planner — not on ray tracing Fairyland does not advertise.

When the full game ships, we will mark any spec bump here. Until then, 8 GB and a decade-old GPU are the official door. If you can open the door, the rest of the work is parenting, not pixels. A quiet Meadowville evening should not require a new graphics card, only a clear AP bar and a parent who read the clock.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for demo players, parents, and ending hunters.

Does My Fairy Princess run on Steam Deck?

Steam’s public page lists Windows. Deck compatibility is not an official claim here until Valve or KDream posts one.

Is there a Mac version?

Not on the current store listing. Windows only.

How much disk should I free for the demo plus 1.0?

Minimum is 10 GB for the current listing. Leave extra for patches and a second branch if you keep a playtest copy.

Why does combat feel heavier than town?

Public combat shots show a different camera and a higher version crumb. That can cost more GPU than Meadowville. Lower resolution before you blame AP.
