My Fairy Princess Alchemy, Cooking, and Craft

Elixirs are not a side bag. They are how Fairyland turns chores into a fate.

Alchemy and Crafts

KDream’s English store page lists crafting elixirs in the same breath as farming, cooking, and fishing. That grouping is the guide. In My Fairy Princess, the kitchen and the pill furnace are both parenting tools. You are not building a separate crafter class. You are deciding whether her hands smell like osmanthus sugar or like medicinal smoke when the ending credits try to name her.

Use this page with daily life for the calendar, and with ending paths when you need to know which craft serves which future.

What we can see without a fake recipe book

The demo HUD already has a food shortcut and a plants shortcut beside the book and the character tab. Give Snacks is a first-class home action next to Chat. A daughter line in the bedroom asks for osmanthus cake to go with whatever she is already eating. That is a pairing hint: food has combinations, and she will tell you if you listen.

We do not have a public ingredient table. Anyone posting a 40-row recipe list for a WIP demo is guessing. This wiki will only name foods and materials that appear in official UI or copy. Osmanthus cake is in. “Dragonbone pill +99” is not.

Four official verbs that feed the bench

  • Farming grows the plants the HUD button implies. Seasons matter; autumn Meadowville is not April’s interior garden.
  • Fishing supplies the river half of the pantry. It is also time spent away from town gossip.
  • Cooking turns those inputs into Mood, gifts, and dialogue hooks.
  • Elixir work is the immortal-facing craft. Steam’s transcendence ending and the Dao-seeker companion both sit next to this verb even if the UI still says WIP.

If a later patch adds smithing or talismans, it will get its own heading. Until then, do not plan a run around a bench the Steam page does not mention.

Snacks as information, not trash bags

Give Snacks at home is how you learn Likes that the Friends book still hides behind question marks. A failed snack is data. A loved snack is a memory accelerant, not a substitute for the March Year 6 gate on Liu Yuyue. Spend Silver/Coin on ingredients when Mood or a rank is the bottleneck; do not empty the purse because the stall is pretty.

Archive, on the same radial as snacks, is likely where discovered recipes and stories land. Open it when a cook succeeds so you are not relying on memory. Controls lists the keys; this page tells you why that tab exists.

Matching crafts to official endings

Steam names several futures. Craft does not equal ending, but it leans:

  • Renowned healer — elixir work, plants, and the kind of combat you take a medicine case into. See combat.
  • Bewitching enchantress — cooking, gifts, wardrobe, social AP. Pills may still help; they are not the identity.
  • Righteous prodigy — Knowledge / Literature plus enough craft to not look helpless on the road.
  • Wandering hero — less furnace, more wilds, but food still keeps the red bar alive.
  • Quiet mortal life — cooking and farming as the point, not as a stepping stone.
  • Transcendence — elixir work and Dao-adjacent bonds, with new-cycle content still hidden.

Put the lean into the ending planner so your Schedule (Q) is not a random chore generator.

Quality, WIP, and your expectations

Screenshots warn that they do not represent final quality. That includes craft UI. Buttons may move. Names may change from Coin to Silver while you are holding a cake. If a recipe you wrote down vanishes after a demo patch, check updates before you assume you were wiped as punishment.

The parent CGs — hair, painted nails, a sleeping daughter — are the emotional reason this system exists. You are not mincing herbs to see a number go up. You are building a childhood she can remember in the Friends book as Scent of Green Plums instead of as a blank card.

When the pantry is full and the furnace is tempting every AP, go outside anyway. Markets hide side stories. A daughter who only stirs pots will not meet the swordsman. Balance is the actual endgame of a raising sim, and Fairyland is honest about that even while the labels still jitter.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for demo players, parents, and ending hunters.

Is there a public recipe list?

No complete official list yet. This wiki only names items that appear in UI or store copy, such as osmanthus cake. We will not pad a fake table.

Do I need alchemy for every ending?

No. Healer and transcendence leans want it. Hero and mortal-peace leans can treat it as support. See the activity ranking.

Are snacks the same as elixirs?

Snacks are the home Give Snacks action and cooking output. Elixirs are the immortal-facing craft named on Steam. They share ingredients; they are not one button.

Where do I store discoveries?

The home radial includes Archive next to Chat and Give Snacks. Use it. Getting Started shows where that menu sits.
