My Fairy Princess Ending Professions Compared
Six named professions, four are career titles, two are fates. Pick on purpose — Steam prints them.
Steam and the demo store page name four ending professions explicitly: a compassionate physician, a celebrated dancer, a mystic prodigy, or a wandering chivalric hero. The full-game release-date post also names a quiet mortal life and ascend to immortality. That is six futures. This page compares them side by side and answers the which one writes itself question. For ranked coverage, see the endings hub and multiple endings guide. For the planner, open the ending planner.
The names Steam prints are career titles; the names KDream adds are fate lines. Both print together in the credits. A physician who chose immortality is a real ending; a hero who chose mortal peace is a real ending. Career titles are unlocked by the verbs the parent chose; fate lines are unlocked by how the years accumulated. Do not read the list as mutually exclusive. Read it as two axes: career (which verbs she used) and fate (whether she left the mortal world or stayed in it).
The six named futures
Physician / healer. A career title. Your daughter tends to the wounded with elixir work. A medicine-case companion is your party default. Plants, elixir, plants, plants — and at least one careful fight per season. The kinship meter on this route is high; Rebellion is often low. Best ending for mortal-peace-leaning parents.
Dancer / enchantress. A career title. Wardrobe-driven, Talent-driven, and bound to the Friends book. You need high Talent, an Enamored or Confidant rank, and festival presence. The flower-bordered Flower Birthday CG is the visual reward. Kinship matters; Rebellion is a flavor rather than a problem.
Mystic prodigy. A career title. Knowledge / Literature / archive driven. You raise a scholar, not a hero. Combat is rare but righteous when it happens. The healer-adjacent CG pool is small on this route; the prodigy CG pool is large. Expect later-year exams the demo may omit.
Wandering chivalric hero. A career title. Physique / Power, the wilds, the swordsman orbit, divine weapons. The CG pool is the most-fight-coded. Kinship can be low as long as it stays present. A hero with zero Kinship is a runaway, not a legend.
Quiet mortal life. A fate, not a career. The default if no other title prints. A good place to retire a childhood that did not pick a philosophy. Frequently the demo’s actual ending.
Ascend to immortality / transcendence. A fate. Elixir work, Dao seeker, new-cycle patience. The CG pool is small in the demo and large in the late game. Hidden flags may print this without an ending career label.
How endings print
Endings in My Fairy Princess print as a credit line after the year-rollover. The credit line combines:
- A career title if the philosophy named a career (healer, / dancer, / prodigy, / hero).
- A fate line if the philosophy named a fate (mortal peace, / immortal, / hidden).
Career titles and fate lines can mix. A physician who chose immortal peace is a real ending. A dancer who chose mortal peace is a real ending. The credit prints once per playthrough; there is no second roll.
What each ending requires
- Physician: plants + elixir + one careful fight per season. Mood median > 70.
- Dancer: wardrobe + Enamored or Confidant + festival attendance.
- Prodigy: archive + study time + low combat count + late-year exam.
- Chivalric hero: wilds + divine-weapon dialog option + swordsman companion rank.
- Mortal peace: cooking + farming + Kinship high + low wilds.
- Transcendence: elixir + Dao seeker + new-cycle patience.
Which one writes itself
You write it. That is the entire pitch of the game.
A short heuristic for a first playthrough:
- If you spend most AP on plants and elixir, you are writing a physician.
- If you spend most AP on gifts and festivals, you are writing a dancer.
- If you spend most AP on archive and study, you are writing a prodigy.
- If you spend most AP on wilds and combat, you are writing a chivalric hero.
- If you spend most AP on cooking and farming, you are writing mortal peace.
- If you spend most AP on elixir and Dao seekers, you are writing transcendence.
This is not a hidden formula — it is what the demo HUD already prints. The hidden cards in later cycles are mostly about which fate line, not whether.
Which ending to chase in a demo week
Pick mortal peace. The demo has no credit title prints for the others yet, but mortal peace is the default. You will leave the demo with a known ending on your save, a working Kinship bar, and a clean Friends book. Once 1.0 ships, return here and pick a career title that matches your real-life aesthetic.
A note on Princess Maker
The gamespress post explicitly compares the game to Princess Maker and Volcano Princess. Both are raising sims with multiple career endings. Princess Maker 1 (1991) had 74 endings. Princess Maker 2 (1993) had 90+. My Fairy Princess does not promise 74. It promises countless, which is generous marketing for more than the demo can prove. If you have played Princess Maker: a My Fairy Princess save is closer to PM2 than PM5. Plan accordingly.
Career vs fate combinations
The following combinations are the ones that the wiki expects to print in 1.0 based on the gamespress post and the Steam store copy. They are guesses until 1.0 prints the credit text:
- Physician + mortal peace
- Physician + immortality
- Dancer + mortal peace
- Dancer + immortality
- Prodigy + mortal peace
- Prodigy + immortality
- Chivalric hero + mortal peace
- Chivalric hero + immortality
The wiki treats combinations that mix career and fate as the default expectation. Combinations that swap career for an unnamed job (dancer turned dancer-healer) are not yet on the table.
What this wiki will add here
- Confirmed ending card text when 1.0 publishes them.
- A mixed-ending dictionary (e.g. chivalric hero turned mortal peace).
- New-cycle ending inheritance rules.
Until then, the endings hub is the parent.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for demo players, parents, and ending hunters.
How many endings are in My Fairy Princess?
Steam uses the word *countless*. The named six are physician, dancer, mystic prodigy, chivalric hero, mortal peace, and transcendence. Hidden endings print in later cycles.
Is the ending text already in the demo?
Not yet. The demo does not print a credit title. Mortal peace is the effective default. Career titles print when 1.0 ships.
Can one childhood get two endings?
Career title + fate line can mix (e.g. *physician + mortal peace*). They print as a single credit line.
What if I want a hidden ending?
New cycles unlock more. The demo cannot print a hidden ending. Plan a first run as a known career, then refuse one element in the second.
