My Fairy Princess 2026 Release Roadmap

A short official road. No fake months, no invented Steam date.

Release Roadmap

KDream has been unusually clear about feelings and unusually careful about days. This roadmap only uses Steam’s release field, the two closed betas mentioned in a Lunar New Year post, the August 2026 public playtest, and the later demo announcement. If a calendar app shows 31 December 2026, treat it as a storefront placeholder unless Steam itself prints a day.

Pair this with updates for the news style and demo notes for WIP grit.

Known milestones

  1. Development and two closed betas — Lunar New Year 2026 letter (Year of the Horse greeting) said the team had already run two closed tests and collected notes. They teased a public demo test after the holiday.
  2. Public playtest — live in August 2026. Request Access, immediate download. Feedback framed as raising the game the way you raise the daughter.
  3. Steam demo — announced as live, the public introduction.
  4. Full release window — Steam: 2026, coming soon. Platforms: Windows. Publishers: KDream and 2P Games.

There is no public priced launch day, no console SKU, no mobile port on the Steam page.

What “2026” should change in your brain

You can learn the loop now. You cannot complete a museum of hidden endings now. Guides on this wiki are written for an upcoming full game plus a live demo. When 1.0 lands, endings will grow first, then companions, then numeric tables if KDream ever prints them.

Wishlist and notifications

Wishlist My Fairy Princess on Steam. That is the only reliable alarm. Discord and QQ are extras on links. KDream’s YouTube, as of this writing, still features other games (desktop pet, dice roguelike) rather than a Fairyland PV; Steam hosts the trailers instead.

Closed beta lessons that still matter

The New Year letter admitted the team felt both joy and “why is there always more work.” That matches the HUD you see: beautiful CGs, wrapped English, combat on a different version line. Expect 1.0 to unify strings. Expect some demo muscle memory to break. Keep controls bookmarked.

After launch (preview, not a promise)

Steam already sold new cycles, hidden characters, and seasonal Fairyland. Post-launch support is likely, but we will not invent a battle-pass. This is a premium single-player sim. The tools hub will stay checklists, not gacha timers.

If you are choosing whether to wait: wait if unfinished meters make you angry; play the demo if you want to know whether parenting a xianxia child is your genre. System requirements are low enough that waiting for a GPU sale is rarely the blocker.

When Steam prints a day, it will go at the top of this page in plain text. Until then, the road has four stones, and you are standing on the third with a Go Out button.

How this wiki will move with 1.0

On launch day we will retune endings first, then companions as names print, then alchemy if a recipe book ever becomes official. Controls will be rewritten if Q and E stop meaning Schedule and Go Out. We will not pretend a 2026 patch calendar exists before KDream posts one. Until that morning, the useful road is still the demo: wishlist, install, read the watermark, raise her for a week, fill the ending planner, and send bugs with version strings. A roadmap that only counts months is a poster. A roadmap that changes how you spend AP is a parent tool. Keep the paper. Keep the Steam page. Ignore anyone selling a fake day.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for demo players, parents, and ending hunters.

What is the exact release date?

Steam only lists 2026. This wiki will not invent a day. Wishlist for the real announcement.

Is there early access?

The public products are a playtest and a demo, not a paid Early Access SKU on the store block we indexed.

Will consoles get it?

Not listed. Windows Steam is the official platform today.

Where do I read the New Year letter?

Steam community announcements for app 3387240. Summary lives on this page; full text on links.
